WOODBRIDGE BY ROBERT MONDAVI PINOT
GRIGIO
In 1979, the Robert Mondavi
family acquired the Cherokee Wine Association, established by Lodi grape
growers as a cooperative for producing wine in the 1930's. Renovated and
renamed Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi, the winery has become a leader in the
popular premium wine category.
California and Lodi appellation
Woodbridge wines are made using many of the gentle handling and natural
winegrowing methods employed at the Robert Mondavi Winery in Napa Valley.
The grapes are selectively chosen from among California's top growing areas,
including the Lodi/Delta region surrounding the winery, and the North and
Central Coasts.
