BANROCK STATION
SEMILLON CHARDONNAY
Banrock Station, just north of Kingston-on-Murray in South Australia's Riverland, is an eighteen hundred hectare property, situated directly opposite the historic Cobb & Co stagecoach station. The property was originally established for grazing and cropping, but with the River Murray forming its boundary for 12 kilometres, Banrock is even more ideally suited to viticulture.
For every bottle sold, a donation is made to the Banrock Station Wetlands Foundation Canada to support wetland conservation projects.

This wine displays the fresh lime characters of Semillon, superbly balanced by the peachy richness of Chardonnay. Light oak contact has resulted in a wine, which is soft and well balanced, with a crisp fresh finish.

WINE SPECTATOR: 85 POINTS & BEST VALUE! "Soft and appealing for its peach and pear fruit. Finishes dry and open. Drink now." (October 15, 2006)
