HARDYS 'STAMP OF AUSTRALIA' SHIRAZ CABERNET SAUVIGNON
In 1857 Thomas Hardy shipped two hogsheads of wine to England from Adelaide, his first exports! Today Hardys Stamp of Australia offers one of Australia's most popular, easy to drink and affordable range of wines. Hardys wines are now enjoyed in over 55 countries around the world, ensuring that the early instruction of Thomas Hardy, "to create quality wines that will be prized in the markets of the world" is stringently followed today, as it will be for many years to come. The Shiraz Cabernet is one of the best red wine values available.

RECOMMENDATION: This wine can be enjoyed without cellaring and will compliment Italian cuisine and alfresco dining.
WINEMAKER’S COMMENTS: Riper parcels of Shiraz exhibiting strong spice and white pepper characters along with soft fruity Cabernets are selected for this wine. The fruit is machine harvested during the cool of the night ensuring the fruit arrives at the winery in top condition. The acid in the wine balances the fruit resulting in the distinctive "Stamps" style.

TORONTO LIFE: "Comparatively light, but well-balanced, charming and quite delicious, with sweet black cherry, mind with a touch of clove.  Party red."
