Summer Sippers

Caliterra Reserva Sauvignon Blanc

You get a lot of wine for your money with this juicy ripe sauvignon. Brilliant, light greenish-yellow in color. This wine has pronounced notes of citrus fruit and minerals that stand out on the nose, accompanied by interesting notes of chili pepper and tomato leaves. Intensely aromatic on the palate with bright acidity that makes this a fresh wine that is pleasing to drink.

Chivite Gran Feudo Rosado

A perennial summer favourite, this dry Spanish rosé is built for tapas bars and outdoor dining. You’ll find terrific fruit intensity and complexity in this Garnacha (Grenache) based Rosado.  It loves to play with tomato-based dishes, grilled poultry or fish and olives. Serve well chilled.

Château de Gourgazaud, Minervois AC

The Syrah and Mourvedre grapes used to make this estate grown full-bodied red wine flourish in the south of France. Production quantities are limited; as a result Chateau de Gourgazaud exports only to a handful of markets outside France.
This fruit-forward red has notes of berries, mushrooms and fresh herbs and pairs well with grilled meat and pizza.

Cellier des Dauphins Carte Noire, Côtes du Rhône AC

A youthful ruby colour, aromas of ripe red berry fruit and a spicy undertone make this Côtes du Rhône incredibly versatile. It is dry with supple tannins which makes it a great wine to be enjoyed with or without food. Cellier des Dauphins Carte Noire Côtes du Rhône is ideal paired with red meat and cheeses, or served on its own.
